Customise 'R' Us is an embroidery and printing business, set up by a mother and son in a converted garage in 2019.
Julie has worked in the workwear industry for 15 years prior and Jonathan was self-employed owning his own gardening business and working within the double glazing industry before they both decided to set up their own business. Jonathan saw a gap in the market so decided to attend courses to enhance his knowledge in business. This, along with Julie's knowledge in operations and sales, proved to make the perfect team for starting their own business, in an industry they knew there was a market for.
The company went from strength-to-strength and the family soon realised that they needed more equipment and more space. They made the decision to move from their garage and found the perfect premises in Cwmbran, South Wales, where they now have room to grow, expand and develop.
Family helped massively to get the new premises set up to allow for business to work and customers to feel welcome at Customise ‘R’ Us.
Business improved hugely and the followers increased. New machines allowed for more opportunities, allowing the embroidery and printing business to provide vehicle signage, banners and signs which is again, continuing to build and grow.
Jonathan’s partner Lauren, a full time teacher, helps with the marketing and promotion, but to allow for continued success, plans commence for more staff in 2021.
Customise 'R' Us continues to be the best they can be and have many plans for 2021. They believe in providing customers with high quality products, a wide range of services and excellent customer service.
